Construction Industry and Flame Retardant
There are lots of uses for fire retardants in the construction industry, as well as in furniture manufacturing. A post-treatment fire retardant spray is a very cost effective alternative to factory-produced FR timber (FRT)and can be done on-site.
BanFire has passed the ASTM E-84 standard for construction materials as a Class B retardant, with a flame spread of 45 and a smoke development of 115.
Different codes require different treatments, such as trusses, ceilings, crawl spaces, and even foam insulation. Feel free to give us a call ifyou have a question.
